Indigenous Business Development Center

The Indigenous Business Development Center has offered free digital skills training to budding and established indigenous businesses and the Founder and CEO of Portnet Corporation, Cliff Tichatonga Chafausipo is the current President of the IBDC. He has led business delegations to many countries to help Zimbabwean business people stablish business connections and alliances. He has been to Angola, Nigeria, Dubai, Kenya, China and Moscow among others to secure business projects for delegations of Zimbabwean business people pro bono. The first Secretary General of the IBDC was billionaire Founder of Econet, Strive Masiwa. The late Insurance Guru in Zimbabwe, Paul Mukondo was the Vice President for many years deputising Ben Mucheche a leading transport entrepreneur in Zimbabwe is the immediate Past President.

Portnet’s contribution to indigenous Zimbabwean businesses is an ongoing concern as Portnet Harare Offices are many times the bridge for local start-ups needing an official address.
