Tichatonga Foundation founded by Cliff Tichatonga Chafausipo as The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) delivery vehicle for Portnet Private Limited but has since evolved into a Foundation with an International reach and outlook. It is helping to solve the problems bedevilling the society and has partnered and continues to partner likeminded local and Global entities. Tichatonga Foundation operates as an independent organisation touching the lives of many deserving members of the community and is involved in projects that have a positive social impact. It is self-funded but welcomes participation and donations from likeminded people and organisations.
Below are some of the projects Tichatonga Foundation has done in the past and is currently doing in fulfilling its mandate of partnering Portnet in Corporate Social Responsibility.
Our Founder & CEO is the patron of Mustard Seed orphanage. Portnet looks after and provides accommodation for orphans at Mustered Seed located in Chivhu since 2007 as well Guruve Orphanage founded in 2012.
Our Founder & CEO is 2011-2012 President of the Rotary club of Harare with two international awards for service above self.
Portnet partnered with Shell/BP for the computerisation of Dadaya high school and Mazowe high school.
We provided furniture/ computers for the state house clinic.
HIFA Harare International Festival of the Arts. Since HIFA’s inception 14 years ago Portnet has been the technology partner for HIFA.
